What are Fresh-ins™?
Fresh-ins are small white pouches packed with the natural power of baking soda and are emptied into a new vacuum bag or empty dust cup. The crystals inside each packet neutralize odors inside and outside the vacuum. From pet smells to moldy closets, Fresh-ins eliminates unpleasant odors and leave a fresh, clean scent in the air after vacuuming.

ARM & HAMMER Pet Fresh products deliver real freshness, not just a cover up. Each vacuum bag contains twice the amount of the deodorizing formula found in all ARM & HAMMER dust bags. In addition, Pet FreshTM vacuum bags are the same quality as the Premium Allergen bags, which mean they retain up to 100% of dust mite debris, household fibers, and grass and ragweed pollens.
What is HEPA?
Filters made to strict HEPA standards trap particles 75 times smaller than a human hair. This includes 99.97% of dust mite debris, animal dander, molds and pollen.
What is ARM & HAMMER® Baking Soda?
Baking Soda, also known as sodium bicarbonate, is a naturally occurring substance that is found in all living things, where it helps regulate their pH balance. ARM & HAMMER Baking Soda is made from soda ash, also known as sodium carbonate. To make ARM & HAMMER Baking soda, the soda ash is mined in the form of an ore called trona. The soda ash is then dissolved into a solution through which carbon dioxide is bubbled and sodium bicarbonate precipitates out, forming “Pure, Safe and Natural” ARM & HAMMER Baking Soda.

What can ARM & HAMMER® vacuum bags and filters do to deodorize carpet and upholstery?
The vacuum process removes the dirt and debris and transports it to the bag or dust container. When it is no longer in your carpet or upholstered furniture it can no longer “ferment” and create the acidic fumes associated with unpleasant odors.
How long does ARM & HAMMER® Baking Soda work in vacuum bags and filters?
Bags and filters are packaged to preserve maximum deodorizing potential so you get full strength protection when you first install the bag or filter in your vacuum. The deodorizing ingredient is effective until your bag or filter is replaced, providing you replace your bags as recommended every one to two months and filters every 90-120 days. No. If you wash an ARM & HAMMER bag or filter, you will lose the odor-eliminating properties of the bag or filter. Note: you should never wash a vacuum bag or filter unless specifically instructed to do so by the manufacturer.
